Tampa Author Publishes New Memoir

Pittsburgh, Penn. (PRWEB) February 24, 2010 -- From Birth until This Appointed Time He Has Kept Me: Jesus Christ Son of the Living God My Savior, a memoir by Tampa resident Ernest Brown, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

Ernest Brown has faced hardship throughout his life. Through it all, he was never alone--he always had the guidance of Jesus Christ, his Savior and Lord. Born in Brunswick, Georgia, his parents abandoned him early in life. Along with his brother, Bobby, he was sent to live with his father's sister, Aunt Flora. Flora was mentally and physically abusive to Bobby and Ernest, never showing love or acceptance to them. She taught them to work and work hard, showing them the importance of perseverance and responsibility. But Bobby and Ernest could not put up with her abuse forever. As teenagers, they ran away from her home and made their way back to their father's home. He allowed them to stay, ending the abuse in their lives.

Ernest was never one to complain about his life or his situation, even when he faced numerous and seemingly overwhelming odds. He depended upon his Lord and Savior to show him the way and protect him. Ernest fully relied upon God through all of his struggles and loss, knowing one day God would fulfill his promises to him. Through it all, Ernest realized that "God can and God will," every step of the way.

Though born in Georgia, Ernest Brown has been a resident of Florida his entire life. Now retired, Ernest enjoys spreading the gospel and teaching others about Christ and His love. He is a member of the Church of God in Christ. Ernest is married and is the father of three children.

From Birth until This Appointed Time He Has Kept Me: Jesus Christ Son of the Living God My Savior is a 80-page paperback with a retail price of $10.00. The ISBN is 978-1-4349-0249-8.
